Designed to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Royal Oak collection, this one even features a special 50th Anniversary Rotor on the movement that is crafted out of Rose Gold and is visible through the open case back. With a thickness of just 8.1mm, this is the thinnest watch AP has to offer, and it sits really comfortably on the wrist.
The name Jumbo comes from the 5402ST, which was released in 1972. The luxury sports watch offered a 39mm case, which was considered big at the time, giving it the nickname Jumbo. As the 16202 is here to carry the legacy of the 39mm Royal Oak, it is also referred to as the Jumbo.
