Watches That Stood Out at the Red Carpet
At the Met Gala, watches are more than timekeepers. They are worn to grab attention and showcase success. The 2025 theme of Black dandyism called for bold and tailored looks. I must say that the artists did pick the right timepieces to complement that vision. As per a report by BollywoodShaadis, timepieces worn by stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Hailey Bieber sparked buzz, with some valued at millions. The red carpet showcased an array of remarkable watches. Here’s a look at the highlights.
Shah Rukh Khan: Patek Philippe Grand Complications
Shah Rukh Khan, the first Indian male actor at the Met Gala, paired his Sabyasachi outfit with a Patek Philippe Grand Complications (Ref. 5304/301R). This Patek Philippe watch is valued at around AED 9.1 million ($2.5 million USD). Its black leather strap and skeletonised dial make it stand out from other Patek watches. The one that Khan wore at the Met Gala even featured factory diamond-set bezel.
A$AP Rocky: Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC
Met Gala co-chair A$AP Rocky was spotted wearing a Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC. This remarkably thin chronometer, paired with his distinctive AWGE-designed attire, highlighted his unique ability to fuse streetwear sensibilities with the realm of high fashion. The watch’s sleek design did catch enough attention during the event.
Pharrell Williams: Richard Mille RM 74-02
Pharrell Williams, the American musician, was seen wearing a Richard Mille RM 74-02. Not just your regular RM 74-02, but the featuring a gold open-link bracelet. It is definitely a rare Richard Mille watch that helped Williams stand out of the crowd. Valued at around a $1 million, the watch features a skeletonized movement and it complemented his pearl-pinstriped jacket really well.
Pusha T: Rolex Rainbow Daytona
Pusha T’s Rolex Rainbow Daytona did make a statement at the red carpet event. The one he was spotted wearing featured a Rose Gold case and bracelet. This off-catalog watch colorful gemstones on the bezel, giving it a rainbow effect. It even gets gemstones on the hour markers and diamonds on the lugs of the watch. This one exchanges hands for around AED 1.32 million (roughly $360,000).
Doechii: Tiffany Eternity with Diamonds
To complement her stunning LV outfit, Doechii wore a special Tiffany & Co Eternity watch at the event. The watch is valued at around AED 185,000 ($50,000 USD). The watch featured diamonds on the case and the bracelet. The mother of pearl dial even featured diamond-set hour markers. It was definitely one of the flashiest watches we saw at the event.
Other Notable Watches
While we did mention a few watches seen at the Met Gala 2025 event, these were not all of them. We saw Joe Burrow wearing a Cartier Santos Dumont Skeleton and Maluma was seen wearing the Jacob & Co Billionaire III Emeralds. We also spotted a Jacob & Co. Ashoka Diamond on the wrist of Jeff Goldblum. Serena Williams attended the event wearing a AP Royal Oak Mini Frosted Gold. All these artists had fascinating outfits on them and they had even more fascinating watches on their wrists.
