Luxury Watches of the 2026 Met Gala Red Carpet

The 2026 Met Gala red carpet just wrapped up on May 4, and the “Fashion is Art” theme brought out some of the most beautiful luxury watches we have ever seen. From Jay-Z’s $6 million Patek Philippe to vintage Cartier timepieces, celebs treated mechanical horology as literal art. Here are the best celebrity watches from the night.

Jay-Z and the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime

Jay-Z wearing the $6M Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime at the 2026 Met Gala.

Jay-Z wore the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime reference 6300G-001, which has an expensive $6 million price tag. The white gold watch is massive at 47.7mm because it has 20 different complications inside. In fact, Patek Philippe took eight years just to develop the 1,366-part movement.

The coolest feature is the double-faced case that flips around, allowing Jay-Z to show off either the main black dial or a full perpetual calendar. He paired this massive mechanical watch with a sharp, custom black Louis Vuitton three-piece suit. It was the quiet luxury move, letting the watch do all the loud talking against his dark, tailored coat and diamond starburst lapel brooch.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Steps Out in Jacob & Co.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson wearing a diamond Jacob & Co Billionaire III watch.

The Rock showed up wearing a watch that looks like a block of ice. His Jacob & Co. Billionaire III, reference BL115.39.BD.AA.A30BD, features 714 emerald-cut white diamonds. That adds up to more than 129 carats of stones wrapping around the case and the integrated bracelet.

Besides, this Jacob & Co. watch features a skeletonized tourbillon movement, which looks like it is floating. The watch retails for about $3.3 million. Johnson wore a custom black velvet double-breasted Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo with a classic white bowtie. The deep black velvet made the bright white diamonds pop even more beautifully.

Mark Zuckerberg’s George Daniels Watch

Mark Zuckerberg wearing a rare 18k gold George Daniels Anniversary watch.

Mark Zuckerberg made his first Met Gala appearance and completely shocked the watch world. Instead of buying something flashy, he chose pure horological royalty. He wore an 18k yellow gold George Daniels anniversary watch. Only 35 of these were ever made to celebrate the co-axial escapement.

Roger W. Smith, a legendary watchmaker, hand-built it on the Isle of Man. It is a manually wound timepiece worth around $572,000. Zuckerberg and his wife skipped the red carpet due to protests, sneaking in quietly. However, his simple black Prada tuxedo perfectly matched the watch. It was a beautiful, luxurious, and high-end collector’s choice that fit right into the dress code.

Serena Williams Debuts a Titanium Audemars Piguet

Serena Williams wearing a titanium Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar watch.

Serena Williams proved she knows her stuff by debuting a brand new Audemars Piguet. She strapped on the 41mm Royal Oak Self-winding Perpetual Calendar reference 26685XT. AP manufactured this specific model out of titanium and Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG). The clear sapphire dial lets you look straight into the complex perpetual calendar movement.

Serena Williams’ watch retails for around $232,000. For her outfit, she matched the cold, industrial feel of the titanium watch with a sculptural metallic silver dress. The tech-heavy watch paired well with the metallic lines of her gown, making the whole look feel cohesive.

Rami Malek Showcases a Cartier Crash

Rami Malek wearing a vintage 1992 platinum Cartier Crash at the 2026 Met Gala.

Rami Malek always looks sharp, but his watch choice this year was pure art. He wore a vintage 1992 platinum Cartier Crash. The Crash is famous for its weird, distorted case that looks like it melted in the sun. Some say an old car crash inspired the original shape. I think this Dali-esque design was the perfect answer to the gala’s theme.

A platinum model like this has a market value near $250,000. Malek kept his clothes moody and dark, wearing an all-black Saint Laurent suit under a double-breasted coat. The melted shape of the Crash watch added a weird, surreal twist to an otherwise classic bad-boy outfit.

Lisa Rocks Bulgari Diamonds on the Red Carpet

Blackpink's Lisa wearing a diamond Bulgari Serpenti Spiga watch at the Met Gala.

Blackpink’s Lisa made history on the host committee and brought some serious high jewelry to the museum. As a Bulgari ambassador, she wore the Serpenti Spiga High Jewelry watch (reference 103251). The watch features 18k white gold, the famous double-spiral snake design, and over 800 diamonds weighing over 20 carats.

Similarly, the dial uses a snow-paved setting, and a single blue sapphire sits on the crown. It has a price between $150,000 and $180,000. Her custom Robert Wun white gown was amazing because it features fake mannequin arms holding up a sheer veil. But the diamond snake watch wrapping around her real wrist looked incredible against the wild, theatrical shape of the dress.

A$AP Rocky Showcases a Skeletonized Chanel

A$AP Rocky wearing a skeletonized Chanel BOY-FRIEND watch at the 2026 Met Gala.

A$AP Rocky always pushes boundaries. He showed up late in a custom floor-length baby pink wool robe by Chanel. The black satin lapels and black piping on the coat tied directly to the watch on his wrist. He picked the Chanel BOY-FRIEND Skeleton Watch (reference H6595), which features a beige gold case lined with 64 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The skeleton movement inside the watch uses floating black circular bridges. The watch is valued around $23,000. It gave a sharp and mechanical edge to his soft pink robe. A$AP Rocky even threw on a skull pendant and a flower brooch to finish the look. Last year, he wore the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC, one of the most distinctive watches at Met Gala 2025

Bad Bunny and His Cartier Cloche

Bad Bunny wearing a vintage yellow gold Cartier Cloche watch as an old man.

Bad Bunny looked incredible at the gala. He wore old-age prosthetics, a white beard, and a 19th-century-style custom black suit with a giant pussy-bow necktie. He wore a vintage yellow-gold Cartier Cloche to finish this Old Man character.

The Cloche is a very unique model due to its asymmetrical dial that turns sideways so you can set it on a desk and read it like a clock. A vintage gold model like this has a value of around $30,000 to $50,000. The old shape of the watch fit his distorted, aged-up character perfectly.

Colman Domingo Pulls an Archive Omega

Colman Domingo wearing a vintage 1982 Omega Constellation Manhattan watch at the gala.

Colman Domingo looked like a walking painting. He wore a custom Valentino outfit with a bright, multi-colored tulle top inspired by Picasso’s harlequin paintings. He needed a specific kind of watch with a loud top. He reached into the actual Omega museum archives and pulled out a 1982 Omega Constellation Manhattan Grand.

It is a two-tone steel and yellow gold watch that introduced the famous claws, which grip the crystal. The flat integrated bracelet and geometric shape of the watch aligned perfectly with this beautiful and colorful shirt. I believe he looked way more unique in his costume and the vintage 1982 Omega watch.

Russell Westbrook Adds Rolex Rainbow Daytona to Denim

Russell Westbrook wearing an 18k gold Rolex Daytona Rainbow watch in a denim suit.

Russell Westbrook never plays it safe. He showed up shirtless under a custom cobalt blue denim-style suit jacket by Kenzo. Since he had no shirt, his jewelry had to do the heavy lifting. He wore the famous Rolex “Rainbow” Daytona, reference 116598RBOW, in 18k yellow gold.

The bezel features 36 baguette-cut sapphires fading through a rainbow pattern. The lugs have 56 diamonds, and the sub-dials are made of gold crystals. Moreover, the value of this watch is around $500,000. The crazy splash of colors on the watch looked awesome against the deep blue of his open jacket.

Irina Shayk wore a whole collection of luxury watches. She worked with Alexander Wang to create a custom bralette top made out of silver and gold chains mixed with vintage watch cases and dials. She even wore a gold and silver watch as a tight choker and strapped more timepieces around her upper arms. Irina paired this crazy metal top with a simple, low-slung black skirt, turning everyday mechanical objects into a literal coat of armor. For me, she stole the night at the gala.

Anderson’s Audemars Piguet Watch

Anderson Paak wearing a white gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Openworked watch.

Anderson .Paak wore a giant Audemars Piguet, which matched his personality and outfit. He wore the Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Openworked in 18k white gold. The reference of this watch is 16204BC.00.1240BC.01, with no dial, so he sees all the hand-finished gears inside.

I call this watch a 3D mechanical sculpture because it is extremely unique. The market value is near $251,000. Anderson .Paak wore a psychedelic 70s-style black-and-white starburst Gucci suit. The intricate skeleton dial of the AP looked beautiful against the crazy geometric print of his jacket.

Paul Anthony Kelly Matches Burgundy With Vacheron

Paul Anthony Kelly matching his suit with a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon watch.

Watch collector Paul Anthony Kelly used his watch to complete a monochromatic fit. He wore a burgundy velvet tuxedo with thick black satin lapels and a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon on his wrist. The reference 6000V/210T-H179 features titanium material, but what makes it more unique is the beautiful burgundy dial and the matching burgundy rubber strap. The watch is worth around $240,000.

Connor Storrie Brings Moonshine Gold to the Steps

Connor Storrie wearing an 18k Moonshine Gold Omega Constellation Observatory watch.

Actor Connor Storrie walked the red carpet in a normal black Saint Laurent suit before taking the jacket off to reveal a polka-dot halter top. He wore an Omega Constellation, reference 140.50.39.21.99.001, in 18k gold. I believe this watch is a huge deal because it is the world’s first two-hand watch to pass Master Chronometer testing. Moreover, the classic Pie-Pan dial and the gold brick-style bracelet gave him an old-school 70s rock star vibe.

Finn Wolfhard Gets Vintage With Jaeger-LeCoultre

Finn Wolfhard wearing a white gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute watch at the Met Gala.

Finn Wolfhard leaned hard into a romantic, 19th-century aesthetic. He wore a custom Celine outfit featuring a giant white lace cravat and floral embroidery. He wore an Art Deco-style Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds. The watch is made of 18k white gold, and the case features 30 baguette-cut blue sapphires running along the edges. The solid gold dial even has a cool bark-like texture.

Russell Wilson Wears a Million-Dollar Galaxy

Russell Wilson wearing a $1.6M Jacob & Co Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette Meteorite watch.

Russell Wilson showed up looking like royalty in a cream Brandon Blackwood satin suit with gold winged shoulder pads. He needed a serious watch to match those gold epaulets. He went with a one-of-a-kind Jacob & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette Meteorite. The massive 50mm rose gold case features over 12 carats of invisible-set baguette diamonds. The most unique feature is the spinning globe, a spherical 288-facet diamond moon, and a crazy 3D tourbillon.

Skepta Pops in Yellow Sapphires

Rapper Skepta wearing a yellow sapphire Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo watch.

British rapper Skepta treated himself like a walking sketchpad. He wore an all-white Burberry suit covered in hand-drawn black ink designs of London landmarks and eagles. He wore a rare 18k yellow gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” covered in yellow sapphires. The reference 16202BA.HH.1241BA.01 features gems covering the bezel, case, and bracelet. The watch has a value of around $380,000.

Actor Morgan Spector kept things elegant with his IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 44. The reference IW503704 is a unique model in 18k white gold. It features a gorgeous sparkling beige dial. It has the Caliber 52616 movement, which runs the perpetual calendar with 7-day power reserve.

The watch has a value of nearly $60,000. The smooth lines of the case looked amazing against his tailored black Tom Ford outfit. He wore a wide cummerbund instead of a standard belt, giving his outfit a Gilded Age vibe that matched the classic IWC.

Luke Evans Mixes Leather With Hublot Diamonds

Luke Evans wearing a diamond Hublot Big Bang Unico High Jewelry watch.

Luke Evans brought intense energy to the Met Gala. He wore a custom burgundy leather Moschino jacket and pants covered in silver studs. He strapped on a Hublot Big Bang Unico Jewelry watch to add some high-end sparkle to the rugged leather.

The watch is made of white gold with 334 baguette-cut diamonds weighing about 12.5 carats. The market price is around $310,000. It features the skeletonized chronograph face and diamonds, which offered a crazy contrast to his studded leather gloves and dark sunglasses.
